OMG‑Shot (Orgasm/Intimate Rejuvenation Injection)
What it is
The OMG-Shot is a minimally-invasive treatment designed for sexual wellness and intimate tissue rejuvenation. It uses the client’s own blood, processed to concentrate platelets (Platelet-Rich Plasma or PRP), which is then reinjected into targeted areas of the genital region (such as the clitoris, vaginal wall, or for some providers, male penile tissue) to stimulate tissue regeneration, improved blood flow and heightened sensitivity.
While many practices market it under the name “OMG-Shot,” it is conceptually very similar to the well-known O‑Shot (for women) or P‑Shot (for men).
How it works
- A blood draw is performed to collect a sample from the patient.
- The blood is centrifuged to isolate PRP, which contains concentrated growth factors and platelets.
- A numbing cream may be applied to the treatment area to enhance comfort.
- The PRP is then injected into specific zones — for women, into the upper vaginal wall or clitoral region; for men, into penile-targeted zones as determined by the provider.
- The growth factors in the PRP foster collagen production, new blood vessel formation, tissue regeneration and improved nerve sensitivity over time.
What it treats & benefits
Indications / possible benefits include:
- Increased sexual arousal and sensitivity.
- Improved lubrication and reduced vaginal dryness (in women).
- Enhanced orgasm quality or frequency.
- Reduced mild urinary incontinence or pelvic floor weakness in women.
- Rejuvenation of intimate tissues with improved tone, vascularity and possibly comfort during intercourse.
Treatment process & what to expect
- Consultation: Review sexual health concerns, medical history, expectations, and suitability for PRP therapy.
- Session time: Typically around 30-60 minutes, depending on provider and region.
- Post-treatment: Minimal downtime. Some patients may experience slight swelling, sensitivity or bruising at the injection sites.
- Results timeline: Some patients notice changes within days-weeks; optimal results often appear several weeks later as tissue regenerates.
- Maintenance: Effects may last 12-18 months or more in many cases, with optional repeat sessions for sustained benefit.
Candidate suitability & limitations
Good candidate if:
- You experience decreased sexual function, reduced sensation, vaginal dryness, or mild incontinence and prefer a non-surgical option.
- You are in generally good health, with realistic expectations about what the procedure can achieve.
- You understand this is a regenerative wellness treatment, not a guaranteed “fix” for all sexual dysfunction.
Considerations / limitations:
- Results vary by individual; not all patients experience dramatic change.
- It may not be sufficient alone for severe conditions (for example, major pelvic floor damage, severe erectile dysfunction, advanced menopause effects) — may need adjunctive therapies.
- As with any injection, risks include infection, bleeding, bruising, sensitivity; should be performed by a qualified provider.
- Patients with certain health conditions (e.g., active pelvic infection, uncontrolled systemic disease) may not be appropriate candidates.
