What it is
BioRePeel is an advanced, medical-grade chemical peel treatment that combines biostimulation and exfoliation in a dual-phase formulation. It uses a high concentration of trichloroacetic acid (TCA) plus acids, amino acids, vitamins and other active components to revitalize skin while minimizing downtime.
It is indicated for multiple areas — face, neck, chest (décolletage), arms and other body regions.
How it works
- A “bi-phase” formula means there is a penetrating acid phase (e.g., TCA ~30–35%) plus a hydrophilic phase with amino acids, vitamins, and moisturizing/hydrating components.
- The acid phase loosens bonds between dead/damaged skin cells and exfoliates the outer layer; the hydrophilic phase supports fibroblast activity (collagen/elastin production) and skin regeneration.
- Because the top layer remains mostly intact (minimal visible peeling), recovery time is far less than traditional deeper peels.
What it treats & benefits
Treatment Scope
- Fine lines and early wrinkles.
- Uneven texture, rough skin, enlarged pores.
- Pigmentation and sun damage (on face, neck, chest, arms).
- Acne-scarring or post-acne marks.
- Skin laxity/firmness issues (particularly light to moderate).
Benefits
- Minimal downtime: Many users experience mild redness but no heavy peeling, making it suitable even for busy schedules.
- Year-round use: Because of the gentler peeling profile, many clinics state it can be used in summer or on darker skin tones (with proper protection).
- Versatile treatment areas: Not just face — neck, chest, arms, hands, back etc.
- Stimulates collagen/elastin for improved long-term skin health, not just surface glow.
Treatment process & expectations
- Consultation: Assessment of skin type, target area(s), prior skin treatments, suitability (especially important if darker skin tone or history of post-inflammatory pigmentation).
- Pre-treatment preparation: Avoid strong exfoliants/retinoids, minimize sun exposure.
- Session: Skin is cleansed; BioRePeel solution applied; you may feel tingling or mild warmth; stays on for a few minutes; then neutralization/soothing application. (Timing dependent on protocol)
- Aftercare & downtime: Mild redness or tingling possible; little to no visible peeling for many. Sun protection critical.
- Series & results timeline: One session gives immediate smoother glow; optimal results often after 3-6 treatments spaced ~1-3 weeks apart depending on protocol and area.
Candidate suitability & limitations
Good candidate if you:
- Want improved skin tone/texture with minimal downtime.
- Have skin concerns like mild diploma lines, pores, sun damage, or early laxity in areas such as face, neck, chest or arms.
- Prefer frequent maintenance treatments rather than invasive modalities.
May need alternative/adjunct if you:
- Have very deep wrinkles, heavy sagging, major volume loss, or require surgical lifting.
- Have active open wounds, infection, or recent cosmetic interventions in the target area.
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding (many peel protocols prudent to avoid).
