AQUAGOLD® Facial

What it is

The AQUAGOLD Facial is a premium, minimally-invasive skin-rejuvenation treatment that uses a patented micro-infusion device (tiny gold-plated needles) to deliver a customized “cocktail” of skincare actives directly into the skin.  

It’s designed to offer more than a standard facial by combining microneedling/micro-infusion with injectables-quality ingredients (serums, vitamins, micro-doses of neurotoxin or filler) in a refined format.  

How it works

• The device has ultra-fine gold-plated needles (approximately 0.6 mm in length and thinner than a hair) which create micro-channels in the skin and simultaneously deposit the serum cocktail into the dermis.  
• Because of the micro-infusion mechanism (rather than large needles or standard microneedling alone), the active ingredients are placed directly where they can act most efficiently—improving penetration, hydration, and skin architecture.  
• The serum blend can include hyaluronic acid, vitamins, antioxidants, possibly low-dose neuromodulator (e.g., diluted neurotoxin) or micro-fillers depending on your needs and provider’s protocol.

Treatment process & expectations

Before treatment:

• Consultation to assess skin type, areas of concern (face, neck, décolletage), discuss previous treatments, and determine the serum cocktail.
• Avoid strong exfoliants, active treatments, or sun-burned skin prior to session if advised by provider.

During treatment:

• Skin is cleansed; numbing may be applied depending on patient comfort and device settings.
• The AQUAGOLD device is applied in the target areas; you may feel light pricks or a stamping sensation.
• Total treatment time is relatively short—some protocols ~10-30 minutes of device application.  

After treatment & results timeline:

• Immediately after you might see mild redness or pin-prick marks which resolve fairly quickly (within hours to a day).  
• You may notice a glow, smoother texture within a few days (3-7 days commonly).  
• The visible effects (refined pores, smoother skin) often last ~3-4 months depending on cocktail and skin condition.  
• Maintenance treatments may be recommended every 2-4 months or as advised.

Considerations & suitability

Good candidate if you:

• Have fine surface lines, enlarged pores, uneven texture, mild dehydration, want a premium “glow” treatment.
• Want minimal downtime and quicker recovery (e.g., for event prepping or regular maintenance).
• Desire a treatment tailored specifically (not one-size-fits-all) and are willing to invest in the premium format.

May not be right if you:

• Have very deep wrinkles, major volume loss, or significant skin laxity—these usually require stronger modalities (fillers, laser, surgery).
• Have active infections, open wounds, or untreated severe acne in the target area (micro-channels could spread).
• Are budget-sensitive: since this is a premium facial, cost will be higher than standard facials.
